Assist faculty members with classes and courses; assist with research and instrument development/assessment. Cover classes or proctor exams.
CFAD teaching assistantships may be awarded by semester(16 weeks) or for the academic year (32 weeks).
Teaching Assistantships are dispersed as follows:
One-quarter time assistantship – works 5 hrs. per week
One-half time assistantship – works 10 hrs. per week
Three-quarter time assistantship – works 15 hrs. per week
Full-time assistantship – works 20 hrs. per week
Applicants must be admitted to the MFA in Design program.
Preference will be given to applicants who have completed 9 credit hours of graduate coursework in Design and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, and/or sitting. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Reach with hands and arms.
Visually identify, observe and assess. Ability to communicate with supervisor/students/colleagues. Regular physical attendance required.
