Monitor front odesk of CLA Advisement Office. Responsible for answering student inquiries in personm, over the phone and via email: making copies, typing letters, greeting visitors, data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, office errand (on-campus), assisting departmental personnel if needed and other duties as assigned. Excellent customer service skills required. Greets students and visitors warmly. Maintain positive, energetic attitude in a busy office setting. Must be highly motivated, dependable, and contribute postively to the rest of the Advisement staff.
Good communication skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, computer experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Must be dependable and on time with good attendance, ability to follow directions and ability to follow through with a project until completion. Must respect and be responsible to confidential and sensitive material. Demonstrate a warm and caring professional attitude.
Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, and/or sitting. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Reach with hands and arms.
Visually identify, observe and assess. Ability to communicate with supervisor/students/colleagues. Regular physical attendance required.
