College of Education and Professional Services - Human Environmental Sciences - Food Lab
Assist Food Lab professor with organizing and preparing the food for class each week. Assist students in running / programming the cash register. Follow and enforce food safety guidelines. Assist students with overall running of Central Station Cafe. Other related duties as necessary.
Student will be required to have taken Food Safety & Sanitation class and Quantity Foods course.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Detail oriented. Required character traits: Dependability, thoroughness, and initiative. Have sensitivity of interecultural communication, and have good interpersonal skills.
Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, and/or sitting. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Reach with hands and arms.
Visually identify, observe and assess. Ability to communicate with supervisor/students/colleagues. Regular physical attendance required.
