Perform both programming and analysis tasks on internal business systems. Evaluate the internal technical needs of an organization and recommend solutions. Define the system and functional requirements. Assess available technologies to create development specifications. Develop and modify internal application, operating, or database systems. Create detailed test cases and may be involved in testing to analyze results. Document all programming and systems changes.
Campus Enterprises is made up of all the functional areas on campus that are self- funded. It is approximately a $25-million-dollar operation. We have around 75 full time University staff members. This position will direct IT and multimedia functions for the Campus Enterprises division and its departments. This person will be a liaison between Campus Enterprises and UCO Central IT departments.
Responsible for developing, administering, and troubleshooting Campus Enterprises’ information systems.
Able to perform advanced data operations, including cleaning, formatting, summarizing, reporting, etc.
Responsible for developing software, IT projects and solutions for the department when needed.
This person will stay up to date on technology and proactively monitor technology trends.
Requires a bachelor's degree in related field or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in chosen filed that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results.
Experience with IT support
Experience with IT project management
Experience with SQL & Data Management
Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, major web development libraries (3+ Years)
Experience with other programming and scripting languages is a plus
B.I. or Analytics experience is a plus
System Administration experience is a plus
Excellent computer and communications skills
Ability to analyze, evaluate, and solve system related problems
Ability to translate technical issues so that non-technical personnel can understand issue
Ability to work independently and maintain courteous attitude in dealing with students, staff and visitors
