    This position has a start date of June 1, 2018 and an end date of June 12, 2018.  Work assignments will vary during these dates.

    Position Overview

    This student position requires heavy, physical and manual labor. This position may require moving furniture, working outside on grounds, and /or helping with preventative maintenance.

    Department Specific Essential Job Functions

    Assists in the set-up, breakdown, and daily operations of all Endeavor Games events.  Works with Endeavor Games Crew Staff to facilitate the event at multiple campus and non-campus locations.


    2018 Event dates will be as follows:

    • Pre-Event set-up June 1-6, 2018
    • Event operations June 7-10, 2018
    • Post event breakdown June 10-12, 2018

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for assisting Endeavor Games Staff with pre and post event facilitation.
    • Assist in event regular hourly maintenance to include but not limited to filling water jugs, moving event apparatus and providing direct event support as needed.
    • Perform duties as assigned by Wellness Center Staff.

    Qualifications/Experience Required

    ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS Fall/Spring Semesters All student employees must be enrolled at least half time to be eligible to work any UCO student position. Half time enrollment for Fall/Spring is considered 5 hours for graduates and 6 hours for undergraduates. Summer Semester Undergraduate Work-Study students must be enrolled in 6 hours to work on campus and Graduate Work-Study students must be enrolled in at least 5 hours. All other students must be enrolled in at least 3 hours to work on campus. Students not enrolled in summer classes must be enrolled in Fall classes in order to work on campus, but will be required to pay FICA taxes. If the number of hours needed to graduate is less than the minimum hours required to work, the student must obtain a letter from his/her advisor stating the number of hours needed to graduate.     Qualifications/Experience Preferred

    Event experience. 


    • Must be able to work outdoors.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours to include early mornings and late evenings for a 5-7 day window.
    • Must be able to lift a minimum 20 lbs.

    Physical Demands

    Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing. Frequent standing, and/or sitting. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Reach with hands and arms.

    Visually identify, observe and assess. Ability to communicate with supervisor/students/colleagues. Regular physical attendance required.
