Conducts audits and/or reconciliations, maintains accounts, remits payments, and prepares reports; may calculate liabilities and remittances. Maintains payroll and related records. May be responsible for payroll benefit deduction activities, including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance. Balance weekly and/or monthly payroll ledger, research exception items, and take corrective action. Work closely with technical support to implement process improvements, test system changes, and lead special projects within the payroll department.

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience in the chosen field or 7+ years of payroll experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
